Kashmir's Independence- Persuasive

     Hello! In this blog I’m going to be talking about why Kashmir should be an independent country. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion. India and Pakistan has being fighting for years because of a dispute over Kashmir, while the Kashmiris want to be independent. This conflict is currently still ongoing, but in this blog I’m going to be talking about why Kashmir should be independent. Let’s get started!

First of all, is that it would end all violence between Pakistan and India. Pakistan and India had been fighting for more than 70 years and is still ongoing. Many lives have been lost, possibly including children. If Kashmir becomes an independent country this would end India’s and Pakistan’s violence. But I also believe that Kashmir should equally share half of the land with India to partially solve India’s overcrowding.

    
 Secondly, a poll states that 91% of the Kashmiris want independence.  Kashmir wants independence because Kashmir has been through a lot of shootings between Pakistan and India. Because of the shootings, some Kashmiris died. Another poll states that 47 percent Pakistanis support Kashmir’s independence, but of course the other percentage absolutely disagrees. The reason 47% of Pakistanis support Kashmir’s independence is because they don’t want anymore violence.

         As you can see, Kashmir being independent could change a lot of things. Such as ending violence between those two countries. Also if Kashmir is split with India, it can partially solve India’s overcrowding. If there are any readers that support Kashmir belonging to India or Pakistan, please understand that this is just my opinion. Anyway, that’s it from me!
